What place do I have in your heart? Put Me first in your life by setting aside time to be with Me. For many say that they love Me with all of their heart, mind, soul and strength, yet show little evidence of it in their lives. For how you spend your time is a reflection of your priorities.
If a father said he loved his child yet did not spend time with him, would they feel loved? If a wife said she loved her husband, but was never available, how would he feel? This is true for Me as well. When you say that you love Me, but don't have time for Me, you are sending mixed signals.
Therefore, do not be double-minded, but return to Me, the rock of your salvation. For you can do nothing without Me, so why do you strive in the natural when I have all that you need? Being busy, even doing good things, cannot replace our relationship. I would rather you do less in My strength than more without Me. For it is in Me that you live and move and have your being.
Take a look at where your time, talents and resources are being directed, and you will have a pretty good indication if I am on the throne of your heart. Come, let us reason together, and remove all distractions. For when you do, you will find that your path becomes easier and the load you bear will seem lighter. Keep in step with My Spirit, for He will always lead you to Me, and remind you of your first love.
