STIRRING THE POT

Will you go low before Me? Will you allow yourself to be humiliated before the throng if I ask you to dance before Me like David did? Will you allow My Spirit to have full reign and take over if I so choose? For I am an unconventional God and I refuse to be put in anyone's box. Will you allow Me to break out of the mold and move when and how I choose to?

For I am about to explode on the scene like never before. Just like Peter preached and thousands responded, My Word will go forth and run swiftly throughout My church. My Spirit will take over and people will again think you are drunk and out of control. The religious spirits long to shut Me down, but I will have My way. Yes, I am a God of order, but I also shake things up when and how I want to.

Do not expect everything to run smoothly and perfectly, but know that I am in it, and I will sift and shift things to accomplish My purposes. I am purifying My Bride. I am stirring the pot. Things that have been at the bottom will surface. Do not fear, for it must happen. I am pulling up the dregs and I am adding the necessary spices to bring out new flavors for this season. Do not fear but know that I am in it. It may not look like what you were expecting, but it will be Me.

Trust Me and follow hard after Me. I will lead you through these unchartered waters. I will lead you safely to the other side. For surely I will magnify and glorify My Name once again in My church, and many will cry out, "What must we do to be saved?" For I will have My way. I will bring in the harvest that My Son has paid for, so get ready for overflow!

2 Samuel 6:20-22 Amplified Bible (AMP)

20 Then David returned to bless his household. But [his wife] Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David and said, “How glorious and distinguished was the king of Israel today, who uncovered himself and stripped [off his kingly robes] in the eyes of his servants’ maids like one of the riffraff who shamelessly uncovers himself!” 21 So David said to Michal, “It was before the Lord [that I did this], who chose me above your father and all his house, to appoint me as ruler over Israel, the people of the Lord. Therefore I will celebrate [in pure enjoyment] before the Lord. 22 Yet I will demean myself even more than this, and will be humbled (abased) in my own sight [and yours, as I please], but by the maids whom you mentioned, by them I shall be held in honor.”

Acts 2:14-21 Amplified Bible (AMP)

Peter’s Sermon

14 But Peter, standing with the eleven, raised his voice and addressed them: “Men of Judea and all you who live in Jerusalem, let this be explained to you; listen closely and pay attention to what I have to say. 15 These people are not drunk, as you assume, since it is [only] the third hour of the day (9:00 a.m.); 16 but this is [the beginning of] what was spoken of through the prophet Joel:

17 ‘And it shall be in the last days,’ says God,

‘That I will pour out My Spirit upon all mankind;

And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,

And your young men shall see [divinely prompted] visions,

And your old men shall dream [divinely prompted] dreams;

18 Even on My bond-servants, both men and women,

I will in those days pour out My Spirit

And they shall prophesy.

19 ‘And I will bring about wonders in the sky above

And signs (attesting miracles) on the earth below,

Blood and fire and smoking vapor.

20 ‘The sun shall be turned into darkness

And the moon into blood,

Before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes.

21 ‘And it shall be that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord [invoking, adoring, and worshiping the Lord Jesus] shall be saved (rescued spiritually).’
