I created the family. It was My idea. It is where you learn to love, honor, and obey. It is where mothers and fathers are to model their love for Me. This is where children are taught My ways. It is the place where children learn sacrifice, and the importance of honoring and respecting authority.
A family is meant to develop communion with each other; to do life together and to bear each other's burdens. The family is to be a place of safety, especially when one falls down. It is to be a place of restoration, reconciliation and forgiveness.
There are so many broken families in the world and within My church. Return to Me and make Me the center of your home. Bring the lonely in and show them My love, for many are longing to know the love of a father and a mother. I need you to show them the Father's heart of love, restoring hope to their broken hearts. Show them My love and bring them into My family.
