When you are tired and worn, keep putting one foot in front of the other. Lift your head and see that I go before you. You may plan your ways, but I order your steps. My burden is light and My yoke is easy when you cast your cares on Me. Yes, child, you will have to get out of your comfort zone and walk in step with Me. Let Me set the pace for you.
We are on a journey together. You must walk by faith and not by sight. Your feet are shod with peace to bring good news to captives and set them free. Do not despise the day of small beginnings, for each journey must begin with a step of faith.
Do not be tempted to look at the path of another, but keep your eyes firmly fixed on Me and the path I have prepared for you. You are unique and it will not look the same. For some are called to blaze the trail for others, so your path will not be smooth. However, your reward is seeing the promised land first and leading others to their reward.
Therefore, let your walk be sure-footed and keep in step with Me. For you are not only leading a few others, but a generation that has lost its way. Do not allow yourself to be affected by those that grumble and complain, but continue to press forward. Always remember that I am going before you and will never lead you astray. Your walk of faith will lead to the greatest reward of all which is intimacy with Me.
Psalms 31:8 The Passion Translation (TPT)
You have kept me from being conquered by my enemy; you broke open the way to bring me to freedom, into a beautiful, broad place.
Psalms 119:105 The Passion Translation (TPT)
Truth’s shining light guides me in my choices and decisions; the revelation of your Word makes my pathway clear.
Joshua 1:2-9 The Message (MSG)
After the death of Moses the servant of God, God spoke to Joshua, Moses’ assistant:
“Moses my servant is dead. Get going. Cross this Jordan River, you and all the people. Cross to the country I’m giving to the People of Israel. I’m giving you every square inch of the land you set your foot on—just as I promised Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon east to the Great River, the Euphrates River—all the Hittite country—and then west to the Great Sea. It’s all yours. All your life, no one will be able to hold out against you. In the same way I was with Moses, I’ll be with you. I won’t give up on you; I won’t leave you. Strength! Courage! You are going to lead this people to inherit the land that I promised to give their ancestors. Give it everything you have, heart and soul. Make sure you carry out The Revelation that Moses commanded you, every bit of it. Don’t get off track, either left or right, so as to make sure you get to where you’re going. And don’t for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you’ll get where you’re going; then you’ll succeed. Haven’t I commanded you? Strength! Courage! Don’t be timid; don’t get discouraged. God, your God, is with you every step you take.”
