DON'T SETTLE

Do you really believe that I am good? Do you believe that I long to show you My goodness, My favor and My blessing? For how can we walk together unless we are both in agreement?

Are you willing to wrestle with Me? Are you willing to persevere and contend for the promises? Are you bold and willing to contend in order to see the blessings of the Lord manifest in your life and those that you love? Or, will you settle into a religious mindset that does not expect anything good to happen? Or, that believes that suffering is a sign of holiness.

I say to you, discard these old negative mindsets that stem from disappointment and hope deferred. For many have forfeited what I had in store for them because of unbelief. They were not willing to press in. They did not truly believe in My goodness, but were willing to settle instead of crossing over into the promised land.

Come with expectation. Refuse to leave until I bless you, for faith that perseveres is what brings Me pleasure. Come, My child. I am good and I long to be gracious to you. I long to show you My goodness.

Will you lead your generation? For I only need one to say "Yes, I will contend. I will lead. I will cross over." Recall the stories of old, how I used the weak to deliver My people; those that in the natural would be disqualified. I have always done it this way so that you would remember it is My hand that saves and My hand that delivers.

Proverbs 13:12 Living Bible (TLB)

Hope deferred makes the heart sick; but when dreams come true at last, there is life and joy.

Hosea 12:3-5 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

3 In the womb he took his brother by the heel,

And in his maturity he contended with God.

4 Yes, he wrestled with the angel and prevailed;

He wept and sought His favor.

He found Him at Bethel

And there He spoke with us,

5 Even the Lord, the God of hosts,

The Lord is His name.

Joshua 1:1-2 Living Bible (TLB)

1 After the death of Moses, the Lord’s disciple, God spoke to Moses’ assistant, whose name was Joshua (the son of Nun), and said to him,

2 “Now that my disciple is dead, you are the new leader of Israel. Lead my people across the Jordan River into the Promised Land.
