GRACE ALONE

Pride wants to be able to earn favor and salvation from God. It refuses to bow the knee and admit its own unrighteousness. Come before Me each day in humility. Remind yourself that you are not worthy based on your works, but only because of My Son's sacrifice so freely given to you. This, in turn, should spark a sense of deep humility and gratitude. This, in turn, leads to joy in serving Me and a desire to please the One that gave so freely to you.

Your past memories can lead you forward or backward, so do not fall for the enemy's ploy anymore. If I convict you of a sinful behavior or attitude, come into agreement with My Spirit and ask for more of My grace to overcome. Refuse to listen to the lies of condemnation. It’s as simple as that.

I will continue to use you and even bless you while you are in process. Give up the notion that you have to be perfect. Perfection lies in My Son alone. Rest in this truth: "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Rest in Me. Always remember that My yoke is easy as long as you stay connected to Me.

Romans 8:1-2 The Message (MSG)

1-2 With the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, that fateful dilemma is resolved. Those who enter into Christ’s being-here-for-us no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying black cloud. A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.

Matthew 5:3-4 Amplified Bible (AMP)

3 Blessed [spiritually prosperous, happy, to be admired] are the poor in spirit [those devoid of spiritual arrogance, those who regard themselves as insignificant], for theirs is the kingdom of heaven [both now and forever].

4 Blessed [forgiven, refreshed by God’s grace] are those who mourn [over their sins and repent], for they will be comforted [when the burden of sin is lifted].
