FEAR OF MAN

When you are weak, remind yourself that you are strong in Me. That is when I display My power best. Lean on Me, your beloved. I will carry you through your impossible situation. I will lead you by quiet streams of refreshing water as you pass through your valley, your death to self.

No longer cave in to the fear of man. You feel good about yourself when you think you are doing well; but as soon as you see your weakness, your emotions take over. The guilt, shame and condemnation return with a vengeance. Remember your job is to come into agreement with what I say. Cooperate with My Holy Spirit and I will conform you into the image of My Son. Refuse to bow down to the enemy's lies any longer.

Just like a parent teaching their child how to ride a bike, there are many things to learn—how to balance and look ahead, all without focusing on their hands and feet. So many things to do at once! When they fall, a good parent will encourage them to get on the bike again.

Likewise, I will never ever give up on you! My mercies are new every morning. Great is My faithfulness to you! I will give you the grace you need for each step of the way as you continue towards complete freedom. It is truly possible, for nothing is impossible with your great and mighty God and King!

Proverbs 29:25 Living Bible (TLB)

Fear of man is a dangerous trap, but to trust in God means safety.

Galatians 1:10 Amplified Bible (AMP)

Am I now trying to win the favor and approval of men, or of God? Or am I seeking to please someone? If I were still trying to be popular with men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ.

Galatians 5:1 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

Christ has set us free! This means we are really free. Now hold on to your freedom and don’t ever become slaves of the Law again.
