DESTINY

Your times are in My hands and I do hold the future. I also hold the past and present, for I AM outside of time. I am timeless. I have no beginning nor end. So why do you fear, My beloved? Instead, use My Word and My promises to you and fight the good fight of faith.

My words bring life. My words bring hope. Press into the promises. Haven't I said that the Kingdom suffers violence and the violent take it by force? Even Jesus was forced into the wilderness by My Spirit where He was tempted by satan. He used the Word against the onslaught of the enemy.

Consider the woman who came before the wicked judge; she would not take no for an answer. Consider Jacob in the desert; did he not say, "I will not let You go until You bless me?" Exercising your faith requires patient endurance. The trials that you face in this life are building your faith muscles. Do not be like the Israelites and desire to go back to Egypt. Instead, press into the good future I have for you. Refuse to let temporary circumstances dictate your future, for your future is hidden in Christ.

Hebrews 10:36 Amplified Bible (AMP)

For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive and carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised.

Luke 18:1-8 The Message (MSG)

1-3 Jesus told them a story showing that it was necessary for them to pray consistently and never quit. He said, “There was once a judge in some city who never gave God a thought and cared nothing for people. A widow in that city kept after him: ‘My rights are being violated. Protect me!’

4-5 “He never gave her the time of day. But after this went on and on he said to himself, ‘I care nothing what God thinks, even less what people think. But because this widow won’t quit badgering me, I’d better do something and see that she gets justice—otherwise I’m going to end up beaten black-and-blue by her pounding.’”

6-8 Then the Master said, “Do you hear what that judge, corrupt as he is, is saying? So what makes you think God won’t step in and work justice for his chosen people, who continue to cry out for help? Won’t he stick up for them? I assure you, he will. He will not drag his feet. But how much of that kind of persistent faith will the Son of Man find on the earth when he returns?”
