Whenever you believe a lie or struggle with accepting the truth, ask yourself why? What is the purpose behind believing the lie? Is it because you want to believe something in order to justify your sin? Or is it that the lie has become deeply entrenched from a past trauma? Or is it because you do not know what My Word says? Have you been under the influence of false teachers? There are many reasons people choose to believe a lie, so come to Me and ask Me. Search My Word. Ask your spiritual leaders for guidance and direction. My Spirit will enlighten you as you seek My truth.
It is when a heart becomes darkened, that it is more susceptible to a spirit of deception. Therefore, guard your heart with all diligence. The enemy knows that his time is short, so he is pouring out his hatred through every way imaginable.
This is the time to see the true church arise. For just as the wheat and the tares have grown up together, it is time for the separation to begin. All deception will be exposed and everyone will have to decide if they are for Me or against Me. There will be no "riding the fence". Choose, therefore, this day whom you will serve. May it be that My people will say, "We will serve the Lord God alone."
Colossians 2:7-9 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)
7 You must depend on Christ only, drawing life and strength from him. Just as you were taught the truth, continue to grow stronger in your understanding of it. And never stop giving thanks to God.
8 Be sure you are not led away by the teaching of those who have nothing worth saying and only plan to deceive you. That teaching is not from Christ. It is only human tradition and comes from the powers that influence this world. 9 I say this because all of God lives in Christ fully, even in his life on earth.
2 Peter 3:17-18 New International Version (NIV)
17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. 18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.
