STIR YOURSELF UP

Notice that you can get stirred up for good or for evil. What does stirring do? It is a process of mixing ingredients until they are blended. That is how your mind works when you wake up each day. You have thoughts swirling around in your head. You try to sort them out, but when the negative thoughts overtake your mind, the good thoughts are blended into the mix until the negative becomes your only focus.

Instead of trying to get rid of the negative thoughts, bring together the good ones and stir them up. Stir up gratitude. Stir up awe in Me, your great God and Creator. Stir up faith, hope and love, and what you can do this day to bring honor to your King. When you start stirring up these ingredients, you will find them expanding. The outcome will be something pleasing, and you will taste and see that the Lord is good. Remember, it is all in what you mix together. Therefore, choose your ingredients wisely.

Ezra 1:5 Amplified Bible (AMP)

Then the heads of the fathers’ households of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and Levites, all those whose spirits God had stirred up, arose to go up and rebuild the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem.

Isaiah 28:21 Amplified Bible (AMP)

For the Lord will rise up as at Mount Perazim,

He will be stirred up as in the Valley of Gibeon,

To do His work, His unusual and incredible work,

And to accomplish His work, His extraordinary work.

1 Thessalonians 5:8 Amplified Bible (AMP)

But since we [believers] belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope and confident assurance of salvation.

Psalm 34:8 The Voice (VOICE)

Taste of His goodness; see how wonderful the Eternal truly is. Anyone who puts trust in Him will be blessed and comforted.
