My story is good news, not bad news. The Old Testament is the old covenant. You need to realize the seriousness of sin and what it cost My Son. The New Testament is good news. Accept that you cannot change by yourself. You can only change through the power of the Blood of My Son. There is power in the Blood, the Name of Jesus, the Word, and My Spirit, all of which are freely available to you.
The enemy tempts you to doubt Me and My love for you because you have not seen an easy deliverance. The Israelites did not believe I could save them either. Afterwards, they quickly forgot about their deliverance and wanted to return to Egypt. They thought their journey was too difficult. Dissatisfied with their daily provision, they became greedy for something better. They did not trust Me to take care of them.
Trust Me to take you through this process, for nothing is impossible with Me. I know that you do not think you can change because you have tried and failed for so long. You have tried to kill desire so you would not have to feel, but I never meant for you to numb yourself to pain. Even My Son would not accept the option of numbing the pain of the Cross. Come to Me, My child. I will help you if you will trust Me.
