REFINER'S FIRE

You have allowed Me to put your heart through the refiner's fire and submit to the cleansing of My fuller's soap. You have done well in allowing Me to examine your heart. You have been willing to stay on the potter's wheel. Though this has been a difficult and arduous process for you, it is producing the glory that you have been asking for, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

You desire to be used by Me in a mighty way. In order for this to be accomplished, every area of your heart, mind and soul must be completely yielded to Me. You must sit at My feet daily in order to hear My voice clearly. Complete and immediate obedience is your only option. Do this and live! I have much to accomplish in this generation and you have been chosen for such a time as this.

Remember Esther and her unswerving obedience. How well would you have responded given her circumstances? She was an orphan. She was required to go before a powerful and pagan king, and trust him with her heart and body. How easy do you think this was? She determined in her heart to obey Me, regardless of the cost. She was willing to die, if necessary. Are you willing to pay the price? If so, then follow Me wholeheartedly. No turning back.

Malachi 3:1-4 (New Living Translation)

1 “Look! I am sending my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me. Then the Lord you are seeking will suddenly come to his Temple. The messenger of the covenant, whom you look for so eagerly, is surely coming,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

2 “But who will be able to endure it when he comes? Who will be able to stand and face him when he appears? For he will be like a blazing fire that refines metal, or like a strong soap that bleaches clothes.

3 He will sit like a refiner of silver, burning away the dross. He will purify the Levites, refining them like gold and silver, so that they may once again offer acceptable sacrifices to the Lord.

4 Then once more the Lord will accept the offerings brought to him by the people of Judah and Jerusalem, as he did in the past.
