MIGHTY WARRIORS

I am raising up an army of mighty warriors like David’s mighty men. It will be made up of men and women, young and old, rich and poor, from every tribe, tongue and nationality. The enemy has raided and pillaged My people long enough, so I say “Enough is enough!” These will be My dread champions and they are fearless. They have a single-focus and that is to bring Me the inheritance that is due Me, the great King.

Many are dying of thirst with no one to offer them a drink. Whom shall I send? Who will go for Us? Will you answer the call? Will you go? For the rewards for crossing enemy lines to offer a drink are beyond measure. You only have one life to live. Will you surrender all to follow Me? Go, therefore, and bring them in—the lame, the lost, the dying. Rescue them while there is still time.

2 Samuel 23:15-17 Living Bible (TLB)

15 David remarked, “How thirsty I am for some of that good water in the city well!” (The well was near the city gate.)

16 So the three men broke through the Philistine ranks and drew water from the well and brought it to David. But he refused to drink it! Instead, he poured it out before the Lord.

17 “No, my God,” he exclaimed, “I cannot do it! This is the blood of these men who have risked their lives.”

Isaiah 6:8 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying: Who should I send? Who will go for Us?

I said: Here I am. Send me.

Psalm 2:7-8 New International Version (NIV)

7 I will proclaim the Lord’s decree: He said to me, “You are my son; today I have become your father.

8 Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.
