When a child lies to their parent, they are learning to hide their sin instead of walking in truth. When this is allowed, it breeds dishonesty in other areas as well. This will lead to the child justifying their dishonesty; i.e. "everyone's doing it", or "I'll never be able to get ahead if I'm honest". These are lies from the enemy, plain and simple.
My Word has and will always be your standard. I hate dishonest scales. When you are dishonest, what does it say about your trust in Me and My goodness? Doesn't it really mean you do not believe that I will provide for you? Even if you suffer for righteousness sake, is there not a reward?
My Kingdom is invading the marketplace and I need those whose walk is blameless before Me. It is those that I will entrust with not only earthly wealth but the true riches of My Kingdom. These will be given favor and will be used to finance the gospel.
For I want My people to prosper so that they can be a blessing to the world. Money is not evil. It is a tool. It is the LOVE of money that is evil. Therefore, keep Me first and foremost in all of your dealings, because all of your ways are set before Me. I am a just God and I expect this to be true in My children as well. Deal righteously and walk in integrity towards all people and you will be blessed.
Proverbs 11:3 Expanded Bible (EXB)
·Good people [People with integrity] will be guided by ·honesty [innocence]; dishonesty will ·destroy [devastate] those who are not trustworthy.
Galatians 5:25 Amplified Bible (AMP)
If we [claim to] live by the [Holy] Spirit, we must also walk by the Spirit [with personal integrity, godly character, and moral courage—our conduct empowered by the Holy Spirit].
1 Peter 2:12 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Keep your behavior excellent among the [unsaved] Gentiles [conduct yourself honorably, with graciousness and integrity], so that for whatever reason they may slander you as evildoers, yet by observing your good deeds they may [instead come to] glorify God in the day of visitation [when He looks upon them with mercy].
