I am the One who created man and woman. I am the One who created the marriage covenant. Covenants are sealed with blood. This is no small matter. Covenant is necessary in order to seal the relationship, not only between a man and woman, but with Me as well. I take the vows you say to each other seriously. When vows are broken the ripple effects are felt now and in future generations. I am outside of time and I know the end from the beginning. I see the results and I want My children to be spared unnecessary heartache.
I long for My children to model oneness in marriage and family. This can only be done through the power of My Holy Spirit and applying My Word in your lives. Therefore, I implore you to reconsider your ways and return to Me with your whole heart. Let Me cleanse and purify you. Let Me fill you with My love so that the world can see Me in your marriages and families.
For those broken by sin, I do not condemn. Lead them to Me where I can heal and restore them, for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Instead, be a father to the fatherless, and take care of the widows caused by divorce, for I love them, too. Show mercy and compassion, for My mercy triumphs over judgment.

15 Has not the one God made you? You belong to him in body and spirit. And what does the one God seek? Godly offspring. So be on your guard, and do not be unfaithful to the wife of your youth.
16 “The man who hates and divorces his wife,” says the Lord, the God of Israel, “does violence to the one he should protect,” says the Lord Almighty.
So be on your guard, and do not be unfaithful.
