Jesus is still your High Priest and He still lives to make intercession for you. He knows your heart is to please Me though you still struggle in your flesh. He is asking Me to send help for you which I am more than willing to do. Even My Spirit groans for you because We want you to become like Us. He is ever at the ready to strengthen you to do My will.
We are always for you and never against you. We are not angry and ready to punish. On the contrary, We are on your side, encouraging, and yes, correcting whenever needed. Sometimes the correction feels like punishment, but it is to produce fruit that will last. It is to destroy everything that is of the flesh. What feels like punishment is actually the flesh dying. This will never feel good to you, but it is necessary in the refining process.
So, instead of shrinking back, come boldly to My throne of grace. I am always here to help you. You can come as often as you like and I will not turn you away. I am here to strengthen and empower you to fulfill your destiny.
Remember who you are in Christ and come like a child to your Father, expecting good things. Do not compare me to an earthly father, but know and understand that I am good always. Jesus revealed who I am to mankind; a God who loved so much that He would send His only Son to die for you. Therefore, come boldly to My throne. I am waiting.
Hebrews 7:25 New Living Translation (NLT)
Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.
Romans 8:26-27 Amplified Bible (AMP)
26 So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.
27 And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will.
Hebrews 4 Expanded Bible (EXB)
14 [Therefore] Since we have a great high priest [2:17–18], Jesus the Son of God, who has ·gone into [ascended to; or passed through] ·heaven [or the heavens], let us hold ·on [firmly] to ·the faith we have [ the confession/profession; of our faith].
15 ·For our high priest is able [ For we do not have a high priest who is unable] to ·understand [sympathize with] our weaknesses. He was tempted in every way that we are, but he did not sin.
16 Let us, then, ·feel very sure that we can come before [confidently approach] God’s throne ·where there is grace [ of grace; as opposed to a throne of judgment and condemnation]. There we can receive mercy and ·grace [find grace] to help us ·when we need it [ at the right time].
