HIS MERCIES ARE NEW EVERY MORNING

When you open your eyes, I want you to face the day with joy, for My mercies are new EVERY morning! I am not scowling at you. I am like a loving parent that waits for their baby to wake up. When they open their sleepy eyes, they see the one they love is staring back at them. Grinning and cooing, they lock eyes with the one that delights in them.

That is how I feel about you, My beloved. When I look at you, My heart leaps. Why? You are made in My image! I see Myself in you, and I am delighted with what I see, for I know the end from the beginning. I know where I am taking you, and I see you accomplishing all that I created you for. I have big plans for you and you shall finish your race well!

For though you are often disappointed in yourself, that is not how I see you. I see you as an overcomer! I see you as one who, when knocked down, gets back up...over and over and over again. You feel like you have no strength left, but if you lean on Me, you will be able to get up one more time.

That is exactly what I want you to learn, My child. On your own, your strength will fail, but with Me, you can do anything I have given you to do. No, it will not be easy, but creating a champion has never been easy. So, look up, My warrior, for you will stand again, and you will fight the good fight of faith! I am with you and I will sustain you for the battles ahead. I will refresh you when you come to Me, so you can face whatever lies ahead.

Lamentations 3:19-24 The Message (MSG)

It’s a Good Thing to Hope for Help from God

19-21 I’ll never forget the trouble, the utter lostness, the taste of ashes, the poison I’ve swallowed. I remember it all—oh, how well I remember—the feeling of hitting the bottom. But there’s one other thing I remember, and remembering, I keep a grip on hope:

22-24 God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out, his merciful love couldn’t have dried up. They’re created new every morning. How great your faithfulness! I’m sticking with God (I say it over and over). He’s all I’ve got left.

Psalm 119:153-160 The Message (MSG)

153-160 Take a good look at my trouble, and help me—I haven’t forgotten your revelation. Take my side and get me out of this; give me back my life, just as you promised. “Salvation” is only gibberish to the wicked because they’ve never looked it up in your dictionary. Your mercies, God, run into the billions; following your guidelines, revive me. My antagonists are too many to count, but I don’t swerve from the directions you gave. I took one look at the quitters and was filled with loathing; they walked away from your promises so casually! Take note of how I love what you tell me; out of your life of love, prolong my life. Your words all add up to the sum total: Truth. Your righteous decisions are eternal.

Proverbs 24:16 The Passion Translation (TPT)

For the lovers of God may suffer adversity and stumble seven times, but they will continue to rise over and over again. But the unrighteous are brought down by just one calamity and will never be able to rise again.
