When you find yourself stuck in the miry clay, I will come to your rescue. When you find yourself stuck between a rock and a hard place, know that I am the Rock by which you stand. Do not fear, for I have never left you. Though the enemy raises up a standard against you, I will come in like a flood. You will advance and overtake him. For I am your strength. I will carry you high above enemy fire and shield you with My righteous right hand.
Though you are weak, your life is in My hands. I will surely repay you for all the years the enemy has stolen from you. Rise up, O fearless warrior! Rise up in the strength of the Cross, for you are more than a conqueror through Christ. All that you have need of is already secured by the blood of the Lamb.
Therefore, cry out to the Rock, for surely being stuck between the Rock and a hard place is the best place to be! I will deliver you from your enemy and you will have the victory!
Psalm 40:2 Amplified Bible (AMP)
He brought me up out of a horrible pit [of tumult and of destruction], out of the miry clay,
And He set my feet upon a rock, steadying my footsteps and establishing my path.
Habakkuk 3:19 Amplified Bible (AMP)
The Lord God is my strength [my source of courage, my invincible army];
He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet
And makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my high places [of challenge and responsibility].
Joel 2:25-27 The Message (MSG)
25-27 “I’ll make up for the years of the locust,
the great locust devastation—
Locusts savage, locusts deadly,
fierce locusts, locusts of doom,
That great locust invasion
I sent your way.
You’ll eat your fill of good food.
You’ll be full of praises to your God,
The God who has set you back on your heels in wonder.
Never again will my people be despised.
You’ll know without question
that I’m in the thick of life with Israel,
That I’m your God, yes, your God,
the one and only real God.
Never again will my people be despised.
