My principles of sowing and reaping apply to forgiveness. My kindness leads to repentance. Could it be that you want to make sure others know how much they have hurt you? Is your goal mercy or justice? Have you so quickly forgotten the mercy I have shown you?
There seems to be a double-standard when it comes to looking at the log in your own eye. You must realize that this is your flesh which always seeks to deflect the attention on to another. Humility is unknown to pride, for it is the exact opposite. If your flesh is screaming for attention, that is a good indication pride is around the corner.
Each time you release others from your judgment, you empower Me to work on your behalf. My hands are tied whenever you refuse to forgive or when you hold on to a grievance. But each time you release forgiveness, you activate Me to work and move on your behalf. Always remember that.
Only you can accelerate or impede the flow of My grace to you and others. My grace is always new to you each and every time your flesh rears its ugly head. I do not shame you for your feelings. Just lay them at the Cross. Ask for My healing touch, My perspective, and My grace to obey. If you do, you are truly acting like Me, and I will reward you openly before men. Then remember to forgive yourself and move on.
