TRUE IDENTITY

Do not fear, little one. The enemy has been terrorizing you for years, but I Am is with you. Do not shrink back from the pruning process. I know you feel exposed, but I must cut off those areas of shame, fear and control, so that your true identity can come forth. It is time to drop the grave clothes and become who you have really been all along. It is time to stop believing and empowering the lies, and trust in who I say you are in Christ.

It has never been about your works, good or bad. It has always been about My grace, which is sufficient. Wherever sin abounds, My grace abounds all the more. Nothing in your past, present or future takes Me by surprise. Trust Me to bring you through this season. Trust Me to reveal your true identity.

As you give up self-care and rely on Me and Me alone, you will discover how to rest in My love. Dismantle the lies. Listen to My voice which always brings life, light and hope to the darkest of situations. For surely you will know Me and you will shine bright like the stars; all because of My love and My grace towards you. Rest in that truth, little one.

Colossians 1:21-23 Amplified Bible (AMP)
