THE POTTER'S WHEEL

I am a just and righteous God. There is no impartiality with Me. Repentance means heartfelt sorrow and turning away from sin. The good news is that true repentance means forgiveness. You never have to pay for your sin. Remembering My goodness and kindness will lead you to repentance.

I must have pure vessels to pour My power in and through. Otherwise, it would destroy you and those to whom you minister. Be quick to repent, and be willing to go through My refining fire. The rewards for obedience are not to be compared to the pain of the discipline process. Therefore, yield to Me and stay on the potter’s wheel until I am finished. For those that do, you will have great rewards in this life and the life to come.

Jeremiah 18:1-6 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord:

2 Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.

3 Then I went down to the potter’s house, and behold, he was working at the wheel.

4 And the vessel that he was making from clay was spoiled in the hand of the potter; so he made it over, reworking it into another vessel as it seemed good to the potter to make it.

5 Then the word of the Lord came to me:

6 O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter does? says the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel.

Isaiah 58:8-12 Living Bible (TLB)

8 If you do these things, God will shed his own glorious light upon you. He will heal you; your godliness will lead you forward, goodness will be a shield before you, and the glory of the Lord will protect you from behind. 9 Then, when you call, the Lord will answer. “Yes, I am here,” he will quickly reply. All you need to do is to stop oppressing the weak and stop making false accusations and spreading vicious rumors!

10 Feed the hungry! Help those in trouble! Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you shall be as bright as day. 11 And the Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy you with all good things, and keep you healthy too; and you will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring. 12 Your sons will rebuild the long-deserted ruins of your cities, and you will be known as “The People Who Rebuild Their Walls and Cities.”
