THE GOLDEN RULE

I am love. Everything you have need of can be found in Me. Approach your Father like a child. Receive My love. Let Me heal those wounded areas that you try to hide. Then you will come away with a fresh view of life. You will look at people through My lens, instead of a clouded one.

There will always be takers, however, you are to always release love. Love may mean boundaries, or it may mean giving and receiving nothing in return. I will guide you as to what is best in each situation.

Expect the best in people. Remember how My love has changed you. Imagine what they can become. In your closest relationships, where you see the flaws in people, declare who they really are in Me. Family is to be a place to demonstrate how love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.

It is not your job to change someone. Instead, stand in the gap and intercede for your loved ones, asking Me to change their hearts like I have changed yours. Do not allow yourself to speak the negative, but declare the end from the beginning, and make your decrees so that it will be established for you.

The enemy would like nothing better than for you to come into agreement with him. Think like I do and ask for My grace to love people. I will always be there to help you. That is how people will truly know that you are My child, by how well you love others.

Matthew 22:37-40 The Message (MSG)

37-40 Jesus said, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.’ This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: ‘Love others as well as you love yourself.’ These two commands are pegs; everything in God’s Law and the Prophets hangs from them.”

1 Peter 4:8 New International Version (NIV)

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

1 Corinthians 13:3-7 The Message (MSG)

3-7 If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love. Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have. Love doesn’t strut, Doesn’t have a swelled head, Doesn’t force itself on others, Isn’t always “me first, ”Doesn’t fly off the handle, Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others, Doesn’t revel when others grovel, Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth, Puts up with anything, Trusts God always, Always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end.

Proverbs 27:5-6 The Voice (VOICE)

5 Open rebuke is better than hidden love.

6 Wounds inflicted by the correction of a friend prove he is faithful; the abundant kisses of an enemy show his lies.
