Many of My children say they love Me, yet they do not love their own family. This should not be so. Yes, it is true that in close proximity you see each other's flaws, but you have been given more than enough grace to either speak the truth in love, or to overlook their faults. My Spirit will guide you as to how you are to respond with each person that you encounter.
The world is looking for a true representation of the God of love. My family has not represented me very well, but this is going to change. For I am longing to draw My lost children into My heart of love. Therefore, it must begin with you. It is time to represent My Kingdom by living for others first. Give up self-care! Show the world what true love looks like.
You want people around you to change? Then love them well. A well-watered garden grows and flourishes, but one that is neglected is obvious to all those that observe. Can others tell that your family is well-watered? Is it time to tend your own garden? For if you show love to others to gain recognition, yet neglect your own family, you are worse than an unbeliever! I see all, so do not neglect those that I have entrusted to your care, for one day you will give an account.
Ephesians 4:15 Amplified Bible (AMP)
But speaking the truth in love [in all things—both our speech and our lives expressing His truth], let us grow up in all things into Him [following His example] who is the Head—Christ.
Proverbs 17:9 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
He who covers and forgives an offense seeks love, but he who repeats or harps on a matter separates even close friends.
Genesis 2:15 Amplified Bible (AMP)
So the Lord God took the man [He had made] and settled him in the Garden of Eden to cultivate and keep it.
Luke 6:38 New Century Version (NCV)
Give, and you will receive. You will be given much. Pressed down, shaken together, and running over, it will spill into your lap. The way you give to others is the way God will give to you.
