TEARS

There are many kinds of tears. Tears of anger. Tears of frustration. Tears of sadness. Tears of joy. So many emotions. A baby or small child cries to get their needs met. It's the only way to signal they are in distress. They cry when they do not get their way or cannot do something on their own. They cry when they are sad or angry. They cry when they are sick or in pain.

As a parent, your natural response is to comfort your child, is it not? Just because you are older does not mean that you have to pretend you are strong. I see your tears and your quivering chin. Come to Me for I am your Comforter. I will be with you through thick and thin. I will never abandon you. Even when you are at your worst, I remain by your side.

My love never fails. I am steady and constant. You can always count on Me. Why don't you lay your head on My shoulder? I am not upset by your tears. They are precious to Me, for I collect them in My bottle. You do not have to be strong, for I am your strength. You can run to Me, your hiding place. I will shelter you in and through the storms of life. Whatever life hands you, we can handle together.

A time to mourn and a time to dance.

Psalm 56:8 Amplified Bible (AMP)

You have taken account of my wanderings;

Put my tears in Your bottle.

Are they not recorded in Your book?

Psalm 34:15 Amplified Bible (AMP)

The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous [those with moral courage and spiritual integrity]

And His ears are open to their cry.

John 11:35 Amplified Bible (AMP)

Jesus wept.

Revelation 21:4 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish (sorrow and mourning) nor grief nor pain any more, for the old conditions and the former order of things have passed away.
