When you came to the Cross, you gave Me permission to have access to everything in your life. If you start your day by asking for My grace, and surrendering yourself anew, you will find your day will go much smoother. In fact, you will even be looking for opportunities and listening for My voice throughout your day.
Think of it as tuning your radio to My station instead of yours. Let me interrupt you. Remember serving others is a form of worship, too. Even Jesus was interrupted. There were times He was going away to a quiet place to rest, only to be met by a crowd. It was My compassion that He submitted to, for He was always about My business. He denied Himself of His "right” to get away in order to meet the people's needs.
Therefore, lose your life so that you can find it in Me. You will not be disappointed, for I long to use each of My children in mighty ways. The cost? Complete surrender in every area of your life.

34 Then he called his disciples and the crowds to come over and listen. “If any of you wants to be my follower,” he told them, “you must put aside your own pleasures and shoulder your cross, and follow me closely. 35 If you insist on saving your life, you will lose it. Only those who throw away their lives for my sake and for the sake of the Good News will ever know what it really means to live.
