Think of coming to meet with Me as if you were meeting with an intimate friend. You do not have to try to impress Me. I will help you overcome your insecurities. I love each of My children equally. Spiritual acrobatics do nothing for Me. Instead, come to minister to Me and receive all that I Am. Learn to relax in My presence. When your behavior is good, enjoy My presence. When your behavior is bad, do not avoid coming before Me. Instead, run to Me and ask for forgiveness. I offer My love and grace to comfort you.
My discipline may hurt, but the wounds are from your forever friend. As you submit to Me, your spirit comes to life, and the old begins to be replaced by new mindsets. As you continue to submit to My Spirit, I come alive in you. It will become easier to obey, because you are learning to trust Me.
I am patient, kind and loving. I see that you long to obey and realign your life with My purposes. Trust Me to do this. Do not get caught up in rehashing your failures and sins. This accomplishes nothing, but will hinder your progress. Always confess that My mercies are new each and every day. Ask and receive and your joy will be made complete.
