QUIET YOUR SOUL

Sometimes, as with music, words are not required. Isn't it beautiful when a husband and wife can sit together silently, enjoying each other's presence? Likewise, lifting up your soul does not always require words, but just a simple inward turning and acknowledging Me is all that is necessary.
The sages of old understood the importance of being in My presence. Notice how Joshua remained at the tent just to be in My presence. So many are in a hurry and miss out on what I have for them. You live in a culture of instant gratification. Therefore, take the time and allow Me to be your all in all. I will fill you to overflowing with joy unspeakable and full of glory regardless of your circumstances. Quiet your soul and rest in My presence.
I am everything you need.
Psalm 25:1 The Passion Translation (TPT)
Forever I will lift up my soul into your presence, Lord.
Exodus 33:7-11 Living Bible (TLB)
7 Moses always erected the sacred tent (the “Tent for Meeting with God,” he called it) far outside the camp, and everyone who wanted to consult with Jehovah went out there.
8 Whenever Moses went to the Tabernacle, all the people, when they saw it, stood and would rise and stand in their tent doors. 9 As he entered, the pillar of cloud would come down and stand at the door while the Lord spoke with Moses. 10 Then all the people worshiped from their tent doors, bowing low to the pillar of cloud. 11 Inside the tent the Lord spoke to Moses face-to-face, as a man speaks to his friend. Afterwards Moses would return to the camp, but the young man who assisted him, Joshua (son of Nun), stayed behind in the Tabernacle.
Psalm 23:1-3 The Message (MSG)
1-3 God, my shepherd! I don’t need a thing. You have bedded me down in lush meadows, you find me quiet pools to drink from. True to your word, you let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction.
