I never condemn, reject or forsake you, especially for your honesty. I am not intimidated nor overly sensitive. I do not get My feelings hurt because of your admission of the truth. Your anger, bitterness and resentment are only covering up your pain. There are deep wounds from the past that must be healed for you to move forward.
You have let Me examine this area of wounding before, but whenever I try to lance and cleanse it, you flinch and pull away. You hide, thinking that you can do a better job of healing yourself. Do you see where this has gotten you? If you are honest, you can see that the wound has become infected. Allow me access to your heart, so I can apply My healing touch.
I have need of you in these last days, so it is important to overcome these soul giants. Do not harden your heart or resist My grace, for it is sufficient to meet every one of your evil tendencies. Ponder anew the Cross and what it purchased for you. Remember, to obey is better than the sacrifice of continually saying that you are sorry. Come to Me again, and allow Me to apply My grace and heal you from all that ails you.
Psalm 38:1-11, 21-22 Living Bible (TLB)
1 O Lord, don’t punish me while you are angry! 2 Your arrows have struck deep; your blows are crushing me. 3-4 Because of your anger, my body is sick, my health is broken beneath my sins. They are like a flood, higher than my head; they are a burden too heavy to bear. 5-6 My wounds are festering and full of pus. Because of my sins, I am bent and racked with pain. My days are filled with anguish. 7 My loins burn with inflammation, and my whole body is diseased. 8 I am exhausted and crushed; I groan in despair.
9 Lord, you know how I long for my health once more. You hear my every sigh. 10 My heart beats wildly, my strength fails, and I am going blind. 11 My loved ones and friends stay away, fearing my disease. Even my own family stands at a distance.
21 Don’t leave me, Lord; don’t go away! 22 Come quickly! Help me, O my Savior.
