LOVE IS AN ACTION

The ability to love comes from My Spirit who lives in you. My love takes on many forms, but it is always an action. I love a person enough to show them the truth if needed, but I am also compassionate and kind. I know the exact thing a person needs to open themselves up to My love.

Some are more obstinate, and some will say no, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt, hoping that they will turn to Me. Some, like the thief on the cross, will turn to Me at their very last breath. No act of love along the journey is ever wasted. That is why many will be surprised who they see in heaven. I will always continue to offer My love, even to the end, regardless of how they lived their life.

It is critical that you do not judge who will or will not respond. Only I know the end from the beginning. Love whether you feel anything or not. Hanging on a cross did not feel good, but it was the greatest act of love. Love is an action. As you crucify your flesh by acting, I will provide the compassion.

This is the walk of faith. It does not make sense to the natural mind, nor can it. Ask Me to give you the grace, moment-by-moment, and I will be there for you. Allow Me to love through you. Empty yourself of pride and the fear of man. Show them how much I love them, for you were once lost, too.

1 John 3:18 Amplified Bible (AMP)

Little children (believers, dear ones), let us not love [merely in theory] with word or with tongue [giving lip service to compassion], but in action and in truth [in practice and in sincerity, because practical acts of love are more than words].

Luke 10:36-38 Amplified Bible (AMP)

36 Which of these three do you think proved himself a neighbor to the man who encountered the robbers?” 37 He answered, “The one who showed compassion and mercy to him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and constantly do the same.”
