LOOKING OUT FOR #1

Do not entertain fear or resort to self-protection but determine to have a Kingdom perspective. Instead of looking out for yourself, look out for your #1—Me! Always ask for My perspective in any given situation. Look into My Word for direction, for it is your manual for living. Indeed, it is living and active. It will cut through your defenses and bring life to your situation if you will apply it obediently. It is alive, meaning it applies to you in every moment and in every situation.

You need only ask and My Spirit will guide and direct your steps. I will not mislead you. Most importantly, remember that everything is always about love. When you doubt what to do, just ask what love would do? Does it glorify Me and represent My Kingdom way? Follow Me. My yoke is easy. I will be right beside you, giving you the grace to obey.

Psalm 27:1 Living Bible (TLB)

The Lord is my light and my salvation; he protects me from danger—whom shall I fear?

Proverbs 3:6 Living Bible (TLB)

In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success.

Hebrews 4:12 Amplified Bible (AMP)

For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

Matthew 11:29-30 Amplified Bible (AMP)

29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy [to bear] and My burden is light.”
