I am the King of hearts. Give Me your heart. Trust Me for I am the one who created you. I am the only one who can restore you. I will take the broken places and pour out My healing balm of Gilead. I will command water from the rock and My living waters will flow in and through you. Many will come seeking healing, and you must lead them to the Rock.
I am the giver of good gifts. Always remember to give Me all of the glory. The more I am glorified and lifted up, the more grace I can release. I will not give you more than you can handle. Always stay before Me. Remember where you have come from.
Just like Saul and David were seen as insignificant, I chose them and used them in a great way. Do not become like Saul and be destroyed by the enemy. Instead, become like David. For although he sinned greatly, he learned to live a life of repentance. A broken and contrite heart I will in nowise despise. It is through your brokenness that My fragrance is released in the earth.
Humble yourself, therefore, in the sight of the Lord, and I will lift you up. That is My word to you. I will give you all the grace you need to accomplish this. This is what delights Me most, the sacrifice of praise through your brokenness.
Jeremiah 8:21-22 New Living Translation (NLT)
21 I hurt with the hurt of my people.
I mourn and am overcome with grief.
22 Is there no medicine in Gilead?
Is there no physician there?
Why is there no healing
for the wounds of my people?
Psalm 78:14-16 Living Bible (TLB)
14 In the daytime he led them by a cloud, and at night by a pillar of fire. 15 He split open the rocks in the wilderness to give them plenty of water, as though gushing from a spring. 16 Streams poured from the rock, flowing like a river!
Psalm 51:17 New International Reader's Version (NIRV)
The greatest sacrifice you want is a broken spirit.
God, you will gladly accept a heart
that is broken because of sadness over sin.
