GIVING UP CONTROL

Do not fall for the enemy's trap by giving in to despair or believing that you cannot change. Do give up trying to change others. Rest in Me. Focus on Me. Recall all of the miracles, big and small, that I have already accomplished for you. Recall the great things I have done in My Word and also over the course of church history.

I know your heart, child! I know that you long to do My will. I will accomplish all that I have set out to do in your life. You have no need to fear. I have everything under control. You do not have to figure everything out!

Let go of control once and for all! Remind yourself that I am good, and that I will work all things together for good, because of your love for Me. I am doing a good work and a quick work in you. You have turned the corner, so do not look back with regret. Remember it profits you nothing.

I will continue to show you My goodness. Remain humble. Cry out to Me day by day, moment by moment, and I will run to you! For this brings Me great joy!

Mark 8:17-21 Amplified Bible (AMP)

17 Jesus, aware of this [discussion], said to them, “Why are you discussing [the fact] that you have no bread? Do you still not see or understand? Are your hearts hardened? 18 Though you have eyes, do you not see? And though you have ears, do you not hear and listen [to what I have said]? And do you not remember, 19 when I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces you picked up?” They answered, “Twelve.” 20 “And [when I broke] the seven [loaves] for the four thousand, how many large baskets full of broken pieces did you pick up?” And they answered, “Seven.” 21 And He was saying to them, “Do you still not understand?”

Jude 20-21 Amplified Bible (AMP)

20 But you, beloved, build yourselves up on [the foundation of] your most holy faith [continually progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], pray in the Holy Spirit, 21 and keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously and looking forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ [which will bring you] to eternal life.
