GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE

Praise is a spiritual weapon and it is what the enemy hates most. So often you choose to praise Me only when you feel like it or when your circumstances are positive. Don't you realize that victory comes through your praises to Me? Recall the many stories in My Word where the worshippers were sent ahead of the battle.

Get out of your comfort zone! Let your spirit be free before Me. No longer let others dictate how you respond to My presence. David, a king, danced before Me with all of his might. Will you do the same? Will you risk your reputation to demonstrate unhindered love and devotion?

As you praise Me with dancing and shouts of joy, you are breaking chains and setting captives free. Let all that is within you praise Me. Do not hold back. The enemy has tried to steal My worship long enough. I am great and mighty and worthy to be given all praise, all worship and all adoration. Come before Me with thanksgiving and praise at all times and watch the enemy flee. For surely this brings Me great honor and great glory when you are free to worship Me with all of your heart, with all of your soul and with all of your strength!

Exodus 15:20-21 New Century Version (NCV)

20 Then Aaron’s sister Miriam, a prophetess, took a tambourine in her hand.

All the women followed her, playing tambourines and dancing.

21 Miriam told them: “Sing to the Lord, because he is worthy of great honor;

he has thrown the horse and its rider into the sea.”

Psalm 68:24-26 New Century Version (NCV)

24 God, people have seen your victory march;

    God my King marched into the holy place.

25 The singers are in front and the instruments are behind.

    In the middle are the girls with the tambourines.

26 Praise God in the meeting place;

    praise the Lord in the gathering of Israel.

Psalm 30:11-12 The Message (MSG)

11-12 You did it: you changed wild lament into whirling dance;

You ripped off my black mourning band and decked me with wildflowers.

I’m about to burst with song; I can’t keep quiet about you. God, my God,

I can’t thank you enough.
