My Son walked in My glory, power and splendor and so can you. He learned obedience through suffering, and you must do likewise. For when you allow the Cross to do it's work in your life through crucifixion of your flesh, then you are out of the way for My glory to be revealed. Only when you are dead to self, can the life of Christ be fully manifested in you.
You can do all things that I ask of you for I have empowered you with My Spirit and My Word. You have everything you need to attain godliness through what My Son purchased for you at Calvary.
Yield to My discipline, which in turn will yield a great harvest of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. No discipline for the moment feels good, but if you allow Me to have My way, then it will yield a great harvest for My Kingdom, now and in the age to come!
Philippians 3:10-11 (Amplified Bible) AMP
10 [For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope] 11 That if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me] out from among the dead [even while in the body].
1 Timothy 4:7-9 New Living Translation (NLT)
7 Do not waste time arguing over godless ideas and old wives’ tales. Instead, train yourself to be godly. 8 “Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.” 9 This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it.
