DOUBLE PORTION

You are highly favored with God and with man. Ask for the blessing of the firstborn and receive the inheritance of the double portion. For you are grafted into the vine, My Israel and My Firstborn. Your inheritance is in Christ, the Messiah. In and through you all the nations of the world will be blessed. For you were created to be blessed so that you can be a blessing to others.

There is no greater treasure than the riches that are to be found in My Son, Jesus. Therefore, I gladly release the double portion to My children in order to show forth My goodness to mankind. It is My kindness that leads man to repentance, so be kind to one another, especially to the household of faith. Then, when the world sees how you love each other, they will know that you are followers of Christ.

I am releasing the double portion in order to advance My Kingdom. Therefore, give and watch how I bring multiplication, for I am a generous God. Give and it shall be given.

Galatians 3:29 Amplified Bible (AMP)

And if you belong to Christ [if you are in Him], then you are Abraham’s descendants, and [spiritual] heirs according to [God’s] promise.

Deuteronomy 21:17 International Standard Version (ISV)

Instead, he must acknowledge the firstborn of the unloved wife by giving him double of everything he owns, because he is really the first fruit of his father’s strength. The right of the firstborn belongs to him.

2 Kings 2:9 English Standard Version (ESV)

When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask what I shall do for you, before I am taken from you.” And Elisha said, “Please let there be a double portion of your spirit on me.”

Isaiah 61:6-7 Amplified Bible (AMP)

6 But you shall be called the priests of the Lord;

People will speak of you as the ministers of our God.

You will eat the wealth of nations,

And you will boast of their riches.

7 Instead of your [former] shame you will have a double portion;

And instead of humiliation your people will shout for joy over their portion.

Therefore in their land they will possess double [what they had forfeited];

Everlasting joy will be theirs.
