DON'T FRET

Temporary things bring temporary pleasure. I have made all things for your enjoyment, but they are never to replace Me. Have you become satisfied with things? For I am a jealous God. I know how easy it is for you to stray. Your heart must be steadfast and fixed on your Beloved. I am showing you true life. For when you learn to stay hidden IN Christ, the world will not have such a sway on your heart. You will not be moved by your circumstances.

Just like a baby rests against its mother's breast, without a care in the world, you too, must learn to rest in Me. Follow the promptings of My Spirit each day and leave the rest to Me. All is well, My child. Take a deep breath. Stop worrying and fretting over things that you cannot control. I will work everything out according to My plan and My purposes regardless of what it looks like to you. Stop. Breathe. Rest in Me.

Psalm 37:7-9 Amplified Bible (AMP)

7 Be still and rest in the Lord; wait for Him and patiently lean yourself upon Him; fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

8 Cease from anger and forsake wrath; fret not yourself—it tends only to evildoing.

9 For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait and hope and look for the Lord [in the end] shall inherit the earth.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 Amplified Bible (AMP)

17 For our momentary, light distress [this passing trouble] is producing for us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond all measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent splendor and an endless blessedness]! 18 So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable.
