My wisdom is high above all earthly wisdom. I am Wisdom. Scoffers hate wisdom and fools exalt their own thinking above any other. They refuse to bow to Me. Their hearts have become darkened in order to justify their behavior. In the end their folly leads to destruction.
For there is only one true and wise ruler and King of the universe. They do not stop to consider that they will one day stand before Me; for they have said in their heart, "There is no God." Yet, what they say does not change the fact that I AM. They cannot "wish" Me away.
Do not fear, My child, for in the end everything will come to light. My Light exposes all. Therefore, remain steadfast, for I am the one true Judge. All will stand before Me one day and give account for every word spoken. Their folly will be exposed for what it is. My scales will be used. All will be repaid according to their deeds if they do not have Jesus, the Advocate, to defend them. All who trust in themselves will go to everlasting destruction, but all those who put their trust in Me will be justified through faith in My Son.
Psalm 14:1-2 New Living Translation (NLT)
1 Only fools say in their hearts, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them does good!
2 The Lord looks down from heaven on the entire human race; he looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God.
Proverbs 12:15 Amplified Bible (AMP)
The way of the [arrogant] fool [who rejects God’s wisdom] is right in his own eyes,
But a wise and prudent man is he who listens to counsel.
1 Corinthians 1:22-25 The Message (MSG)
22-25 While Jews clamor for miraculous demonstrations and Greeks go in for philosophical wisdom, we go right on proclaiming Christ, the Crucified. Jews treat this like an anti-miracle—and Greeks pass it off as absurd. But to us who are personally called by God himself—both Jews and Greeks—Christ is God’s ultimate miracle and wisdom all wrapped up in one. Human wisdom is so tinny, so impotent, next to the seeming absurdity of God. Human strength can’t begin to compete with God’s “weakness.”
