Come out of your caves. Come out of hiding. Come out of the wine presses. Quit looking to Saul to defeat your enemies. For I am raising up My Gideons and My Davids who will lead you with shouts of victory. They trust not in the arm of the flesh but in the one true God who is mighty to save!
There is a time and a season for everything under the sun. Therefore, I say to you, let the Gideons and the Davids arise and take up My cause! Release the shouts of praise! Dance with wild abandon and pave the way for others to follow you in victory. For this is your time. This is your season. Victory is assured and I will be magnified among all the people of the earth.
Judges 6:11-12, 34 Amplified Bible (AMP)
11 Now the Angel of the Lord came and sat under the terebinth tree at Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, and his son Gideon was beating wheat in the wine press [instead of the threshing floor] to [hide it and] save it from the Midianites. 12 And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him and said to him, “The Lord is with you, O brave man.”
34 So the Spirit of the Lord clothed Gideon [and empowered him]; and he blew a trumpet, and the Abiezrites were called together [as a militia] to follow him.
2 Samuel 6:5 International Standard Version (ISV)
David and the entire assembly of Israel were dancing in the presence of the Lord with all of their strength, accompanied by all sorts of wood instruments, harps, tambourines, castanets, and cymbals.
1 Samuel 17:45-47 Amplified Bible (AMP)
45 Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have taunted. 46 This day the Lord will hand you over to me, and I will strike you down and cut off your head. And I will give the corpses of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky and the wild beasts of the earth, so that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel, 47 and that this entire assembly may know that the Lord does not save with the sword or with the spear; for the battle is the Lord’s and He will hand you over to us.”
