Most people think of prayer as a boring exercise, but I am anything but boring. When you become a living sacrifice, My fire will burn brightly for all to see. This is how you become the light of the world and draw others to Me.
Prayer is a time of fellowship and intimacy. Jesus spent many hours with Me because He loved My presence. He longed to be with Me every moment. He was consumed with Me and pleasing Me. In Him there was no darkness at all. His light burned for Me and the anointing of My Spirit rested on Him. When He walked through a crowd, people knew there was something different about Him. He walked in power and authority because the enemy had no hold on Him.
The reason you must submit to the cleansing of your temple is so that you, too, can walk in intimacy with Me. Then you will hear My voice clearly. Your life will then reflect our relationship and I will draw others to Myself.
Allow Me to examine your heart daily and submit to the fire that destroys all that hinders love. Then our communion will be sweet and you will truly be a house of prayer, the temple of the living God.
