The flesh lives in fear of judgment. Remember Adam and Eve's response? They hid. Your flesh runs and hides from the truth instead of coming into the light. But I have provided you a way to come into the light without fear and condemnation. When you come into My presence, you can approach with full confidence that I will never reject you, regardless of your behavior. In fact, I expect you to run TO Me crying out for more grace which is in abundant supply.
My perfect love casts out all fear. It also gives you the desire to please Me. Walking in the fear of the Lord is to hate sin because you long to protect our relationship. You don't want anything to come between us.
Therefore, when you sin, run to Me and repent quickly. Let's get back to living in step with My Spirit and be about My Kingdom business. Do not allow the enemy to continually distract you, but nurture and protect our relationship. For I guarantee that as you do, you will fall deeper and deeper in love with Me. I am your present help. No longer live in fear of judgment. Run quickly into My arms of love.
Romans 8:12-15 The Passion Translation (TPT)
12 So then, beloved ones, the flesh has no claims on us at all, and we have no further obligation to live in obedience to it. 13 For when you live controlled by the flesh, you are about to die. But if the life of the Spirit puts to death the corrupt ways of the flesh, we then taste his abundant life.
Sons and Daughters Destined for Glory
14 The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. 15 And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!”
Deuteronomy 33:12 New International Version (NIV)
About Benjamin he said:
“Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the Lord loves rests between his shoulders.”
