ARE YOU IN TUNE WITH ME?

Each musical instrument must be tuned and may require adjustments to the instrument itself, the fingering, embouchure, or airflow. Let Me make the necessary adjustments, for I know exactly what needs to be tuned and how to do it. I am the One who created you to be an instrument of glory. Like a diamond, each instrument reflects a different aspect of My glory. I know how to play you to create the sound that only you can release. Each one of you is part of a great symphony. I am tuning each and every instrument to release its particular sound.

Some instruments will require many voices to accomplish this. Others will stand alone for a moment and need no other voice to come through. There are those that play solo while the others must wait for their reentry into the movement. Some instruments may even rest for a whole movement. Some instruments are created to be loud and bold while others to sound more delicate.

Each piece in the symphony is orchestrated carefully, some moving quickly, others slowly. Even so, there are pauses, allowing you to retune as necessary, while always listening to the other instruments, keeping your eyes on the Conductor. For He is the One who wrote your song, individually and corporately, from the beginning of time. Watch the Conductor to make sure you release your unique sound at the right moment. You do not want to miss your entrance as every note is important to the masterpiece. Every instrument has been carefully chosen to release the Master's voice. Whether you play one or many notes, as you release your frequency, you prophesy giving voice to His plans and His purposes. The truth is, you are building upon prior movements and inviting others to join in the symphony of the ages.

1 Corinthians 14:7 The Passion Translation (TPT)

Similarly, if musical instruments, such as flutes or stringed instruments, are out of tune and don’t play the arrangement clearly, how will anyone recognize the melody?

Isaiah 24:8 The Passion Translation (TPT)

The joyful mirth of the tambourines is stilled, the jubilant noise of the revelers is ended, and the happy sound of the harp falls silent.

Psalm 33:3 The Passion Translation (TPT)

Compose new melodies that release new praises to the Lord. Play his praises on instruments with the anointing and skill he gives you. Sing and shout with passion; make a spectacular sound of joy—

Psalm 81:2-3 The Passion Translation (TPT)

2 Let the celebration begin! I will sing with drum accompaniment and with the sweet sound of the harp and guitar strumming.

3 Go ahead! Blow the jubilee trumpet to begin the feast! Blow it before every joyous celebration and festival.

Revelation 14:2 The Passion Translation (TPT)

And I heard a tremendous sound coming out of heaven, like the roar of a waterfall and like the earsplitting sound of a thunderclap. The sound of music that I heard was like the sound of many harpists playing their harps.
